The touring music and extreme sports festival The Vans Warped Tour is officially 18 years old, and going stronger than ever! The tour has always been known to feature punk, post-hardcore, pop punk, and metalcore bands, and this year is no different, featuring Warped Tour veterans such as The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Yellowcard, Rise Against, and Anti Flag. But in addition to all of the rock bands you’d come to expect from the tour, this year there are also a lot of Hip-Hop acts, Electronic influenced acts, and even a DJ! Artists like G-Eazy, Machine Gun Kelly, Hyro Da Hero, Mod Sun, and Justina will be showing their lyrical skills, bringing a more diverse hip-hop sound to the Warped Tour. Also, a lot of bands that have a very heavy electronic influence will be playing, such as Denver’s own Breathe Carolina, Blood On The Dance Floor, Skip The Foreplay, and “chiptune” band I Fight Dragons. Also joining the tour will be DJ and Producer Wick-It The Instigator, who will be providing a full DJ set showcasing some of his ridiculous remixes! The Warped Tour will be kicking off June 16th, and will be in Denver the following day on the 17th at Sports Authority Field.
