Tupac & Nate Dogg live on stage, well hologram live.

This past Sunday April 15th. Dr. Dre brought out a top of the line Tupac & Nate Dogg hologram to join in the performance with Snoop Dogg & himself .

Tupac came out from beneath the stage then immediately went into his classic ‘Hail Marry’ from 1998 which he led into Americas Most Wanted (Snoop & Tupcas biggest collaboration hit from 96). The crowd went off the hook as they watched Tupac rise up on stage with his arms open for the first time since his death in late 1996. After all that hype from the crowd and media, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a concert tour where Tupac & Nate Dogg holograms become a big part of the show!

There were also amazing performances from all of the Aftermath/Shady artists. Dre and Eminems performance was off the chain! The visuals and stage props were just as intense as the Up ‘In Smoke Tour’ back in the early 2000s. The live band / hip hop feel made famous by the Roots, is coming together nice.

Snoop has been working on the project for years, to give the music performance an organic feel that people say isn’t present in Hip Hop. It’s not just computer made beats anymore!  Coachella attendees were definitely privileged to experience such a special show that will be a huge part of music history.

While it took quite some time going through each and every submission (over 200!), all of us at Got Bass Music have come together with Dubstep.net, Bwomp Beats, iBrostep, and Doom Music on finalizing a winner of the Must Destroy remix contest. They are as follows:

Dubstep pioneer Datsik has finally released his long awaited debut album ,Vitamin D, on Steve Aoki’s label Dim Mak, and it doesn’t disappoint. Any fan of the dark robotic dubstep sounds that Datsik is known for will be extremely pleased with this album, especially with songs like Annihilate, Bonafide Hustler, Complete Control, and Punisher.

Along with the songs of which you’d expect from Datsik, he proves that he can also dabble into other genres as well, like drumstep and moombahton (Syndrome, Don’t Feel Right, Light The Fuse, and Double Trouble). Datsik worked alongside many other artists for this album too, having tracks featuring Downlink, Snak The Ripper, Infected Mushroom, Messinian and Z-Trip. This album is a must buy.

This month for the first time Florida melodic dubstep duo “Coyote Kisses” rolls into Fort Collins to showcase their 80′s synth inspired electronic music in an energetic live set. I first heard of Coyote Kisses a few months ago when their track “Acid Wolfpack” literally blew up the soundcloud charts. Reaching almost 200,000 plays in a matter of weeks, this young duo showed the world what they are really capable of. With direct support from Denver Glitch-Hop star Ben Samples, this is sure to be one hell of a lineup. Also on the bill are locals Far Far Away & The Musik.
