Trichome has added a Funky, Electro, Afrobeat feel to this album.

The lineup for the third installment of Bisco Inferno has just been announced! Infected Mushroom, Live

On November 6th, two of the more famous trip-electronic artists invade the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver for a night of guaranteed mind bending electronic sounds and psychadelic vibes mixed with a variety of genres of music that will expand the mind of all in attendance.

Infected Mushroom a psychadelic-electronic duo consisting of Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdeni who began playing together in 1998 in Haifa, Israel and have since released 5 albums The Gathering (1999), Classical Mushroom (2000), B.P. Empire (2001),Converting Vegetarians (2003), IM the Supervisor (2004), Vicious Delicious (2007) and Legend of the Black Shawarma (2009) which will all provide material for their set at the Fillmore.

Lotus, Live in 2009

From their early days building a first album being constructed from live performances, Lotus always attempts to bring the most amazing live performance and also bring that across in all of their recordings and the result of this diligence is one of the kingpins in the electronic-psychadelic rock genre. The band is most famous for its elaborate light shows as well as deliverng up to 115 shows a year all over the world.

The band, which began as a straight-up jam band consists of Mike Rempel on guitar, Jesse Miller rockin the bass and sampler, Mike Greenfield raging the drums and Luke Miller on guitar and keys. Expanding upon a wide range of styles and sounds, Lotus is considered a multi-genre band. The group incorporates elements of rock, electronica, jazz, jam, funk and other musical influences. Bassist Jesse Miller refers to his band’s sound this way, “”I truly believe Lotus’ sound comes from the roots of rock ‘n’ roll mixed with electronic beats that are popular today. It took a long time for us to finally find a sound we all agreed on. But believe me, we experimented plenty before deciding what sound we were looking for.”

STS9 thrives on friction. This may be surprising coming from five musicians who think of themselves as a collective as much as a band. “America is this beautiful, incredible place, but it has a dark underbelly,” bassist David Murphy says. “Music measures the temperature of the people,” adds guitarist Hunter Brown. “Consumerism and the corporate media have taken us all down the path of cynicism, apathy, and nihilism. Armed with an endless batch of song ideas and fueled by the tension of the times, the band (which in addition to Brown and Murphy, features percussionist Jeffree Lerner, keyboardist David Phipps, and Zach Velmer on drums) took a break from their masochistic touring schedule and holed up in their recording studio, determined to make the strongest album of their career.

The result, “AD EXPLORATA”, is inspired by the idea that there is always more to be discovered, manifested by the belief that one can always push towards the unknown and unexplored, and created by the will and desire for constant artistic evolution, expression and change.
