Nu Disco is bringing life back to the dance floors across the globe and has been cycling through my playlists all winter. Gigamesh, an artist based out of Minneapolis Minnesota has been pushing this genre the farthest though in my opinion, with classic 1970′s groovy tracks & high energy synth stabs. I don’t know about you, but i’ve gotten addicted to the Nu Disco beat. This first track is great for the summer, featuring Dave 1 from Chromeo & an energetic synth lead.

On the heels of a mind blowing run of European festivals, Gorillaz have announced the complete tour routing for the North American leg of their highly anticipated world tour “Escape To Plastic Beach.” The North American tour will begin in Canada at Montreal’s Bell Centre on October 3rd with a 19 date stretch winding up on November 3rd at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Much like anyone could have expected the Canadian duo, MSTRKRFT, threw down in classic fashion. They opened with a ballad from queen and mixed multiple other rock influences into there electro packed set . As the night wound down the crowd grew wrestles and nearly heat exhausted all until around 1:30 am when the power ballad “All I Do Is Party” started pouring life into the staggering Denver patrons. A lot can be said about MSTRKRFT but lets just leave it at WOW.
