Skrillex – Leaving EP [Free Download]
Early this morning Skrillex released his new EP via his Owsla Records monthly subscription service The Nest. Skrillex surprised everybody by releasing this EP with absolutely no hype behind it (there’s still no mention of it even on his own Facebook page). This unannounced EP contains 3 tracks, each of which sounding very different from each other. “The Reason” is a somewhat laid back glitch-hop track, lacking in some of the crazy sounds you might normally associate with a Skrillex track. “Scary Bolly Dub” is essentially a VIP remix of “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites”, which isn’t completely apparent until halfway through the track when you start to hear the familiar vocals and synth line from the original. “Leaving” is the most surprising of the 3, which is a very chill minimal track with heavy focus on the percussion. Altogether this a great EP, so grab your free downloads now!
