DEV79 presents Street Bass Anthems Volume 5 & Street Bass Bootlegs Volume 2

Seclusiasis’ wildly popular Street Bass Anthems series is back with Dev79 presents Street Bass Anthems Volume 5!

Starkey and Dev79‘s ‘Street Bass’ sound has been turning heads and moving asses since they coined the term in 2006 and this compilation is right on point to continue the tradition. Collecting a variety of genre-defying artists, Seclusiasis delivers it’s most expansive compilation yet.

Seclusiasis’s widely successful Street Bass compilation series have proven that, time and again, Starkey and Dev79 have a sixth sense for assembling the works of some of the most forward thinking producers in the world, with each Street Bass volume exceeding it’s predecessor. And Volume 5 continues the tradition.

Dev79 presents Street Bass Anthems Volume 5 features 17 original and unreleased tracks including new material by Suzi Analogue, who, fresh off her Scion A/V collaborative single with Tokimonsta, lends her playful vocal delivery to Dev79’s dizzying juke-infused “Black Hoodie”. Canadian bass icons, Knight Riderz, team up with MC Zulu for a steaming dancehall stomper “Rudie Cyaant Fail”, while DMC champion DJ Shiftee & Rx (Made in Glitch) twists elements of footwork and Baltimore Club into their surreal “Think About It”. Starkey employs the mesmerizing vocal styling of Halfcast on his bouncing “Circus”, and BD1982 and Dev79 combine forces as 7982 for the moody tropical “Letters & Numbers”. All of the tracks are pure heat, trust that.
