[Trap] New Tracks From Bird Peterson, Sweekuh, TOKEN, and Filthy Disco
So I was surfing around soundcloud searching for some dope Trap beats to include in my DJ sets and came across some pretty cool stuff. This first one, a Bird Peterson remix of the new ‘Veldt’ by Deadmau5, I found from one of my favorite labels, Mad Decent. He always pushes the envelope when it comes to putting a different twist on new an upcoming genres, and this song is no different. When I think of Trap, the first thought that comes to mind is G’d up hood synths and pitched snare rolls. Peterson, throws the gangster feel out the window on this one and lays the original beautiful chords over some heavy sub bass and catchy drums. Even though I haven’t really mentioned much about the other tunes, they are all pretty solid and definitely worth a download (especially the Token tune), if you catch one of my set’s in the next two weeks you are guaranteed to hear some of these on a good sound system where they deserve to be played.
